Objective of the recall

In its statement, the Ministry emphasized the importance of the exercise in protecting the integrity of Ghana's official travel papers. The notice noted, "The recall exercise is to ensure a review of all Diplomatic and Service Passports in accordance with the current eligibility criteria for issuance." Procedure for review and re-issuance

The Ministry has asked that all concerned persons submit their passports to the Legal and Treaties Bureau for a full evaluation and potential reissuance. This approach will verify that such records are held in accordance with current requirements.
