On Saturday, President John Mahama met with President Carlos Manuel Vila Nova of São Tomé and Príncipe to enhance bilateral relations.
President Vila Nova arrived in Accra on Friday on a two-day working visit, meeting with President Mahama at the Presidency to explore further collaboration, particularly in the oil and gas business.
The meeting, which was attended by top government officials including Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, National Security Advisor Prosper Bani, and Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, underlined the need to share knowledge in resource management and economic progress.
Defense Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Presidential Advisor Joyce Bawah Mogtari were there for strategic consultations to strengthen ties between Ghana and São Tomé and Príncipe.
