Vida and Gomez, a popular Ghanaian TikTok couple, recently disclosed their love story and wedding plans on the Delay Show, stirring social media debates.
Vida said that she gave Gomez a monthly stipend of roughly GH¢21.7K, purchased him a luxury VW Touareg, and even moved some of her assets into his name via his brother. These admissions have reinforced accusations that Gomez married her for her fortune, but the pair has denied the allegations.
Vida required a bodyguard after returning from a trip overseas, thus the two met. A buddy suggested Gomez, who accepted the position. Vida gradually formed feelings for him, and their connection evolved into love. Gomez was previously married but divorced his first wife before marrying Vida.
Delay questioned Gomez if he used "for girls" on Vida (for her money), and he denied it.
