GWCL promises quick action to address water shortages in portions of Ghana.

Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has informed the public that efforts are being implemented to solve water shortages in many sections of the nation, including Tamale, Bimbilla, Kasoa, and Ho.

GWCL has acknowledged the issues and is dedicated to restoring regular supplies.

He has been severely hit, putting a burden on important institutions like hospitals and jails, who are looking for other water supplies.

In an interview with Accra-based Channel One TV, Communications Manager Stanley Martey assured locals that attempts were being made to settle the problem. Mr. Martey assured people in Ho a reliable water supply within a week, noting that the firm was working relentlessly to normalize the situation across the country.

"We truly apologize for any difficulty caused, however as previously indicated, we are working around the clock to restore supplies. "We anticipate that the situation within the municipality will improve by the end of the week," he said.

Martey also advised against water theft, which exacerbates the issue for other households. He encouraged the people to refrain from stealing water to guarantee equitable distribution of the limited supplies.

"We encourage people to avoid stealing water so that the limited quantity can be divided properly. This will guarantee that as many residents as possible have access to water and can support themselves during this tough time," he said.
