The mother of famed Ghanaian artist Jerry Anaba, also known as Okomfo Kwadee, claimed on UTV's "United Showbiz" broadcast on February 8, 2025, and hosted by Empress Gifty, that she is now uncertain of her son's location.


This admission comes after a horrific video circulated earlier this week, which showed Kwadee in an obviously degraded state.

During the conversation, Empress Gifty asked how a mother could lose track of her son.


Kwadee's mother noted that, while they both live in Kumasi, they live in different areas.

She added that when she recently visited his home, she was unable to find him.

When asked if she had tried to reach him by phone, she said that she had, but it looked that his phone had also disappeared.

In answer to Empress Gifty's inquiry on how those who saw Kwadee or wanted to help might get in touch, his mother suggested they contact Angel FM's mid-morning program presenter and DJ, Ohemaa Woyeje.

The revelation of the alarming video has sparked enormous public outrage, with many asking how such film was permitted to circulate online.
