President John Mahama Urges Unity: "You Elected Us to Get Things Done, Not to Blame People"The dedication of the government to fixing the issues of the nation was reaffirmed by President John Mahama in a recent speech, where he urged the citizens of Ghana to hold on and stay united. He informed the citizens that fixing problems and not blaming tops the agenda.
Even when he accepted the issues the nation is facing, President Mahama asked people to be optimistic. He urged people to come together to address challenges and again stated that the government is working day and night to provide solutions. To him, "You elected us to solve the problems, not to apportion blame," and they need to come together in order to move forward.
The President also emphasized some of the most critical matters, which involve economic matters, employment, and infrastructure development. The government has again reiterated that it is committed to implementing policies that will boost growth as well as the standard of living for all the Ghanaians.
Mahama also called for positive engagement from the whole of society, calling on citizens to contribute positively to the national discourse. He stressed that if they all worked together, the nation could build a brighter, better future.
