Ghanaian actor-politician, John Dumelo, has just reported the sad loss of his father. Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr., aged 75, passed on at the peak of life after leaving behind his family with memories of love and care.
Dumelo paid a moving tribute to his father on social media, remembering their final moments together. To him, he had been receiving calls from his father asking him to come over, and they had been having deep conversations regarding politics, life, agriculture, and business. When it comes to Dumelo's swearing-in as a Member of Parliament in the near future, his father advised him with something significant.
Dumelo was told a little later that his father lost responsiveness. His father died a short time after admission despite being rushed to hospital.
Dumelo expressed a heartfelt word of appreciation to the continued support of his father, hailing him as his biggest supporter and counselor. As he put it himself, "We will miss you." Rest in peace, Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Sr.
This loss is occurring when Dumelo is set to be sworn into office as Ayawaso West Wuogon Member of Parliament after he won his recent election.
