Even though he lost the parliamentary election in December 2024, Dr. John Kingsley Krugu, the NPP's candidate for the Bawku West seat, has once again shown his dedication to the welfare of his constituents. He put seven more boreholes into service yesterday, increasing the total number of boreholes under the Dr. JK Water and Sanitation Initiative to 104.
This project demonstrates Dr. Krugu's commitment to giving the communities in his constituency access to clean water and sanitary facilities. "Water is life and sanitation is dignity," he says succinctly. Many people in Bawku West have definitely benefited from his efforts, since they are no longer concerned about having access to portable water.
Among the numerous initiatives Dr. Krugu has taken on to better the lives of his citizens is the Dr. JK Water and Sanitation Initiative. He has a remarkable track record of completing development initiatives, such as building schools, roads, and medical facilities.
The narrative of Dr. Krugu serves as a reminder that genuine leadership is about helping others and developing the community, not about winning elections. Without a doubt, his legacy will continue to encourage and inspire people to Take his lead.
