Ghanaian Women's Empowerment: Abossey Okai Spare Parts Ladies Give Prof. Opoku-Agyemang Praise

The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Ladies Movement has congratulated Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang on becoming Ghana's first female vice president and taking the oath of office. The organization said in a statement that Prof. Opoku-Agyemang's accomplishment was a huge step forward for women's empowerment and gender equity in Ghana and abroad.

The movement recognized Prof. Opoku-Agyemang's unwavering commitment to serve Ghana with honesty, empathy, and an inclusive growth vision, under the direction of President Margaret Nkansah Ansong and Vice President Gifty Lovelock Naana Fianu. They also praised her progressive measures, such as how she established the Women's Development Bank and gave schoolgirls free sanitary pads.

The movement pointed out that these programs show a dedication to economically empowering women and protecting young girls' dignity and welfare. As Prof. Opoku-Agyemang sets off on her transforming journey into a Ghana where every woman and girl may reach their full potential, the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Ladies Movement promised their undying support and solidarity.

This is not the first time that the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Association has officially endorsed national politicians. They previously thanked the public for their resounding support of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his overall election victory.
